Mary Tapolsky Receives 2017 EnterpriseCorp Award

Toggle Health Wins 2017 Venture Sharks Competition

One Innovation Center's Credit Fair-e and Toggle Health competed with two other companies for the grand prize worth ~$37,000 in cash and services in this year's Venture Sharks competition. Congratulations Toggle Health!

Mayor Fischer discussed entrepreneurship with the Spring 2017 LaunchIt entrepreneurs. Prior to his presentation, Mayor Fischer met with the military veterans in the program this spring.

Revit ~ Accelerating Customer Growth

5 companies received 2.5 hours of customized strategies from marketing experts to increase customer traction on February 15th; the companies were encouraged to implement the proposed strategies and will provide feedback after 6 months.

Seminar - Fundamentals of Sales & Marketing

Successful entrepreneur Charles Davis provided an overview of sales and marketing fundamentals for early stage companies on October 13th based on experience gained over the course of his career.

Startup Seminar Series ~ Accessing Metro Incentives

Louisville Forward's Keisha Deonarine discussed incentives and other Metro resources available to startups and early stage companies and provided guidance on the appropriate time to access these resources on February 9th.

Indatus e+i Program to Air on KET KY in February

David and Phil discussed their 25 year journey with Planet Telecom, which developed the first fully automated emergency dispatching service, as it morphed into Indatus, a software and data analytics company, to a successful $49M exit in 2015. First airing on KET KY will be on February 19th.

Nucleus Hosted SBA Administrator Contreras-Sweet

Nucleus hosted Maria Contreras-Sweet, Chief Administrator of the Small Business Administration, who was in Louisville for the Kentucky SBIR/STTR Annual Conference as part of the Federal SBIR/STTR Tour. Ms. Contreras-Sweet presented Nucleus with a certificate recognizing its role in promoting innovation and growing small businesses for Kentucky and the nation.

DesiCorp Wins Fall 2017 LaunchIt Internal Pitch Competition

Nucleus Hosts International Delegation

Nucleus met with delegates from 7 countries as part of their "#HiddenNoMore: Empowering Women Leaders in STEM" tour of the U.S. with the State Department.

Open Office Hours at the iHub

Open Office Hours is designed to provide complimentary advice from local service providers to startups and early stage companies and is open to any startup or early stage company in the area. KiZAN Technologies LLC, which will provide technology consulting assistance, is the most recent addition; they began hosting Open Office Hours in December. Other companies participating in Open Office Hours are Chrysalis Ventures, Fort Phelps PLLC and Deming Malone Livesay and Ostroff. Fall 2017 VetStart Applications CLOSED

Five applicants were selected to attend the Fall 2017 LaunchIt program and may then request up to $1,000 for eligible business expenses to help grow their company.

Fall 2016 VetStart

6 veterans were selected from almost 40 applications for the Fall 2016 VetStart program. They will attend LaunchIt training and being eligible for startup funds upon successful completion of LaunchIt.

Nucleus Congratulates MedicAir

Nathan Edmonds won the internal pitch competition during our Spring 2016 LaunchIt program. His company, MedicAir, is developing a device to provide cold air relief to kids with croup. Nathan was coached by Jackie Willmot (not pictured) and Bob Saunders.

Grand Opening of 252 E. Market

Nucleus hosted a press conference this morning in the newly renovated training center in the 252 E. Market building to announce the completion of the Trinity Video Communications Center, welcome Code Louisville to this space and announce that Learning House has committed to hosting coding bootcamps in this space in the near future. Atria Support Center at The Nucleus Received a Cornerstone Award

The Louisville Downtown Partnership recognized the Atria Support Center at The Nucleus as a significant downtown project at its Annual Awards Celebration on April 13th.
